Live Webchat with Chief Constable David Jones

Just sent this e-mail to David Jones, chief constable of Jimmy Savile’s favourite police force. Wonder if he will reply to these questions live?

I know, pigs might fly. More chance of that than one of them telling the truth and upholding the law, eh?

UPDATE – 3rd February 2014. Did David Jones answer any of the questions below? Do we need three guesses? Apparently dealing with missing light bulbs, spray-paint graffiti and such matters are more important to him than answering questions about serious, organised crime committed against an 85 year-old invalid. Can anybody be safe so long at police officers are at large?

Dear Chief Constable,

I note that you are holding a live web-chat on Monday 2 February 2014, see:

I have some questions for you.

Question 1:

Barbara Hofschröer is 85 years old and disabled. She has been targeted by a criminal criminal gang determined to defraud her of her assets. This criminal gang unlawfully evicted her from her home in York in 2010. They have threatened to kill her and arrest her carer if they return home. This criminal gang includes senior officers of North Yorkshire Police. Lord Maginnis has raised this case in Parliament on many occasions and has called for a corruption investigation into your force. See:

“The Hofschroer case has been on my desk for several years now. A widow in her 80s was dispossessed of her home in a way that implies collusion between certain family members and the Social Services. A son who has come to the rescue has been harried by the North Yorkshire police (that particularly dubious constabulary merits careful investigation) to the extent that he and his aged mother have been pursued through an Interpol warrant to their “refuge” in Austria.

When is this investigation going to take place?

Question 2:

On 9 June 2011, Nicholas Long, a Commissioner of the Independent Police Complaints Commission, called upon North Yorkshire Police to reopen the safeguarding investigation into the case of Barbara Hofschröer. The previous investigation had been perverted by corrupt officers of your force, who withheld all evidence of the serious crimes they have committed against this 85 year-old, disabled widow.

Why have you ignored his instructions and when will you reopen the safeguarding investigation?

Question 3:

Barbara Hofschröer’s main abuser is her social worker son Robert Hofschröer. He unlawfully evicted her from her home while she was on holiday abroad. Concerned neighbours called officers of your force, who stood by and laughed while Robert and his son Martin stole her property and removed it from her house.

When Robert found out that bailiffs were about to regain control of her house, he had to explain the stolen property, so he faked a burglary. The bailiff’s report and that of the professional fraud investigator working on the case made it very clear that social worker Robert Hofschröer had faked this burglary. See:

Your officers also investigated this burglary, issuing two reports giving false information as to the result of their investigations. The third report, which confirms that their accomplice in crime Robert Hofschröer, was the person who feigned the burglary has not been released. This is unlawful.

Will you kindly explain why you are breaking the law here?

Question 4:

Respected investigative journalist Sonia Poulton recently interviewed Barbara Hofschröer on TV. She offered you the right of reply to allegations that you and your officers are part of a crime syndicate involved in wide-scale financial abuse of elderly people. You did not respond and are exercising your right of silence.

Under Common Law, that is a criminal offence of misconduct in public office and a tacit admission of guilt.

Do you consider it appropriate that a person who has made a tacit admission to having committed serious criminal offences should hold the post of chief constable of a police force?

Our interview starts at 12:10, but is then delayed for technical reasons to 28:37.

Question 5:

On 23 December 2013, you were sent the following e-mail:

The Cost of the Pursuit of Grandma B

Dear Police & Crime Commissioner, Dear Chief Constable,

One notes from press reports that you consider the cost of reclaiming sums of taxpayers money obtained fraudulently by former Chief Constable Maxwell and DCC Briggs not to be viable and so have dropped the matter.

Please see for instance:

This concern for the public purse is commendable, even it if is incomprehensible. Two more criminals are allowed to walk free in North Yorkshire. The message sent to them and their accomplices is clearly that they can knowingly break the law with impunity. The streets of North Yorkshire can never be safe if we do not have the rule of law, but that appears to concern you little.

Furthermore, you are both aware that for years now, senior officers of North Yorkshire Police have been party to serious crimes committed against two elderly people and their carer, resulting in the death of one of them and the exile of another in a foreign country for five years now. I refer to the “Abuse of Grandma B” case that Lord Maginnis has raised in Parliament several times now, openly accusing you of crime and corruption against an 85 year-old, disabled great-grandmother, which you are not disputing.

Nevertheless, you have chosen to ignore Lord Maginnis’ requests for a corruption enquiry into your “dubious” police force. You have chosen to ignore the IPCC’s recommendation that you reopen the safeguarding enquiry into this case, as the earlier enquiry was perverted by a senior police officer party to these criminal attempts to defraud these old people and their carer of their assets.
One may wonder why you have chosen not to uphold the law here either. In case you trot out the same excuse as you did with Maxwell & Co, may I ask you the following question?
How much has North Yorkshire Police spent on hounding an 87 year-old veteran of Stalingrad into an early grave? How much has North Yorkshire Police spent on terrorising his disabled widow into fleeing her house for safety abroad, in Hitler’s homeland Austria? How much has North Yorkshire Police spent on pursuing them to their refuge in Austria via Interpol? How much has North Yorkshire Police spent on the current international enquiries into the whereabouts of Barbara Hofschröer now you have contrived to force her out of her refuge in Austria?

Presumably, you will continue to exercise your right of silence here.

The sum you have willingly spent in pursuing a wheelchair-bound great-grandmother across Europe for five years for merely having the nerve to complain about being the victim of police crime and social worker abuse is likely to be a multiple of that you would have spent on jailing criminals like Maxwell & Co.

What is your justification for this?

When are you going to answer it?

Question 6:

North Yorkshire Police at best turned a blind eye to 50 years of sustained abuse of children carried out in the force area by Jimmy Savile and his associates. Members of North Yorkshire Police are believed to have been members of his “Friday Morning Club” and evidence in the public domain shows that senior officers of your force had him chauffeured to venues where he got access to children, knowing full well he was a predatory paedophile.

“The report confirms inappropriate contact by Officers and Police staff of North Yorkshire Police who were based at Selby Police Station with Savile in 2008.  This occurred when a police driver visited Savile’s Flat in Leeds in a police vehicle, which was used as a taxi to transport him to Selby in North Yorkshire for a public event organized by officers and police staff from Selby Police Station.  The Report does not state the contacts of the individual officers with Savile, how these arrangements were made, who the driver was, who authorised the use of the vehicle, if the police car was a marked car or if the driver in uniform.  This In my view this was an inappropriate use of a police officer and vehicle.  Given the fact that North Yorkshire Police had received intelligence that Savile was investigation at that time for multiple paedophile offences by two other forces it also constitutes an inappropriate contact.  It also shows that the initial response of North Yorkshire Police denying any knowledge of any local connection with Savile was misleading.”

Why are you evading calls for a proper investigation into this matter? What do you have to hide?

Will you answer these questions, or do you intend to continue to exercise your right to silence?

Yours sincerely,
Peter Hofschröer
