CORRUPTION IN YORK LABOUR PARTY

On 28th May 2012, Grandma B sent the following letter to  Labour Constitution, 1 Brewers Green, London SW1H 0RH

******

Dear Sir or Madam,

Lord Maginnis of Drumglass recently tabled a Parliamentary Question in which he accused York Social Services of corruption. Please see:

http://www.epolitix.com/latestnews/article-detail/newsarticle/proper-delegation-please-not-abdication/

Lord Maginnis described the situation as,

“A widow in her 80s was dispossessed of her home in a way that implies collusion between certain family members and the Social Services.”

The City of York Council is not denying these public allegations of corruption and crime. The family members are themselves employed by York Social Services.

York is a Labour-led council.

The fraud investigator working on this case, Timothy Hicks FCA, has amassed sufficient evidence for the arrest and successful prosecution of the officials and members involved, including Cllr James Alexander, the leader of the council, and Cllr Tracey Simpson-Laing, portfolio adult social services.

York’s MP Hugh Bayley has been fully briefed on the situation here over a period of years, but has not done anything to stop this criminal activity in his party. He is not denying public accusations of complicity.

Should the Labour Party wish to know more about these corrupt activities by the leadership in  York, then please contact me and I would be happy to give you sight of the substantial documentation accumulated by the investigator.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

*******

We are still looking forward.

The national leadership of the Brave New Labour Party has ignored several e-mails on the subject sent over the past year or so, is refusing to discuss the issue on the telephone and has not answered the above letter, one month later.

The Labour Party is exercising its right of silence. That says it all!

Just to make sure there are no misunderstandings here, we have just e-mailed York Inner’s MP Hugh Bayley, as follows:

Dear Mr Bayley,

York Labour Party is being publicly accused of corruption. Please see:

https://grandmabarbara.wordpress.com/1-new-items/corruption-in-york-labour-party/

May I remind you of Grandma B’s policy, as stated on this blog?

We would also like to reiterate that Grandma B – the owner of this site – operates a RIGHT TO REPLY policy.

Any of the people named on this site are welcome to send it a rebuttal to the serious criminal offences of which they stand accused.

On the other hand, they are, of course, entitled to exercise their RIGHT OF SILENCE and not incriminate themselves any further.

If those accused do not avail themselves of their right to reply, then Grandma B will take that as acceptance of the veracity of her allegations.

Will you be making a statement here? If we do not hear from you within seven days, we will take this that you are accepting the veracity of these allegations.

Looking forward to hearing from you, or not, as the case may be.

Yours sincerely,
Grandma B

In the unlikely event that Mr Bayley decides not to continue to exercise his right of silence here, we will publish his reply. Don’t hold your breath!

Earlier today, we forwarded this e-mail to Tom Watson MP in his capacity as Deputy Leader of the Labour Party. We have received confirmation of receipt from both Tom Watson and Hugh Bayley, who are hopefully now reading this blog. In case they are not, we will remind them that we are now starting to publish the e-mails to them regarding the corruption in York Labour Party, all of which have been received, but none of which have been answered.

Here is the first:

Dear Mr Watson,

I am writing to you in your role as Deputy Chair of the Labour Party regarding the overwhelming evidence I have amassed over the past four years of rampant corruption in York Labour Party, where my now 82 year old, disabled mother lived until she was unlawfully evicted from her home and stranded abroad by her abusers, who then tried to fraudulently sell it. Fortunately, my mother’s solicitor was able to stop them.

However, she has nevertheless be unable to return home as she is in fear of her life. Neither York social Services nor North Yorkshire Police are prepared to take measures to safeguard and protect her.

The reason for this is quite simple: Her abusers include the current Lord Major of York David Horton JP and Cllr Tracey Simpson-Laing (portfolio adult services) are actively involved in the abuse and are attempting to defraud her of her assets. They are both Labour ward councillors. The professional fraud investigator I have working on the case, Timothy Hicks FCA, has sufficient evidence to arrest, charge and hopefully jail these councillors for conspiracy to defraud, harassment and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Both have been sent letters by my mother’s solicitor cautioning them as to their future conduct.

Neither York’s Labour MP Hugh Bayley nor York Council’s Labour leader James Alexander are prepared to deal with this serious corruption. Hugh Bayley has been fully informed of every stage of this affair for three years now and simply refuses to respond to correspondence, let alone act.

All of York’s Labour councillors have also been fully briefed and have responded by blocking my e-mails to them or hanging up when I phone them..

Ed Miliband has not so much as acknowledged my letters to him, let alone acted.

Questions are now being asked in the House by cross-bencher Lord Maginnis of Drumglass. The file is now on the Prime Minster’s desk.

Am I correct to assume you find criminal behaviour by your party colleagues against vulnerable old people to be unacceptable, and if so, would you kindly let me know what action you are prepared to take here?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,
Peter Hofschröer – Carer for Barbara Hofschröer, aged 82, wheelchair-bound victim of police crime and social worker abuse

As Tom Watson did not answer,  are we to assume he has no problem with his party colleagues abusing little, old ladies on wheelchairs?

Any answer Tom, or are you too exercising your right to silence?

Gentlemen,

My 83 year-old, disabled mother – who is a victim of serious crime committed by your party colleagues, with your full knowledge and presumably full consent – is now publishing the correspondence on this case on her blog.

Please see:

https://grandmabarbara.wordpress.com/1-new-items/corruption-in-york-labour-party/

In view of the fact that questions in Parliament are being tabled on this case – see, for instance:  http://www.epolitix.com/latestnews/article-detail/newsarticle/proper-delegation-please-not-abdication/ – which implicate York Labour Party in serious crime against a defenceless old lady, will you be maintaining your right to silence or will you finally deal with the corruption in your party?

Your answer, or failure to answer, will be published on this blog.

Yours sincerely,
Peter Hofschröer

Here is one a several e-mails sent to the leader of the Labour Party asking him to deal with the corruption in York Labour Party:

Subject: The Abuse of Barbara Hofschröer, aged 82, by Cllrs Horton & Simpson-Laing
Date: Tue, 08 Feb 2011 15:29:15 +0100
From: Peter Hofschröer
To: milibande@parliament.uk
CC: secretary@yorklabour.org.uk, bayleyh@parliament.uk, “WELLS, Margaret”, “BOWGETT, Denise”

Dear Mr Miliband,

As you are aware from previous correspondence I have sent you, but which you have not had the courtesy to acknowledge, let alone reply to, my 82 year-old, wheelchair-bound mother is a victim of horrific abuse.

The main abuser is her oldest son Robert Hofschröer, a York social worker, who has defrauded her of her house, unlawfully evicted her and made her homeless.

My mother’s ward councillors are David Horton and Tracey Simpson- Laing, while her MP is Hugh Bayley, all members of the Labour Party. All three have refused to intervene in this case.

I have attached correspondence from these two councillors about my mother, in which they describe her carers as “abusers”, and my mother as a “scrounger”. My mother’s replies to these foul accusations are attached.

My mother joined the Labour Party in the Second World War, aged 14. She worked in the armaments industry in London and endured years of bombing. When her two ward councillors ignored her pleas for help to stop the abuse she was suffering from a York social worker, she went to a ward meeting on her wheelchair to hand out a leaflet protesting. That is called democracy and freedom of speech, concepts that Cllrs Horton and Simpson-Laing clearly find objectionable, as they had the police attempt to remove my mother from this public meeting. Being a veteran of the Second World War, she stood her ground and the four police officers attending backed down.

Hugh Bayley, as you know, has been aware of the abuse my mother is being forced to endure for over two years now. He has done NOTHING about this, allowing a York social worker to attempt to sell his disabled mother’s house fraudulently, after unlawfully evicting her.

Fortunately, Lord Maginnis has taken up the case of the RAMPANT CORRUPTION in your party and in the authorities in York with the Home Secretary and we are expecting action shortly.

Can you please let me know if this is the way that the Labour Party treats all vulnerable old people that have been life-long members? As you have done nothing to stop this, am I right to assume that you have no objections to Labour Party officials supporting such abuse?

Looking forward to HEARING FROM YOU.

Yours sincerely,
Peter Hofschröer

You guessed. Right to silence.
