And another note from the fraud investigator to the Local Government Ombudsman, which makes the rampant corruption in the City of York Council clear.

Of couse, if the Lord Mayor, the councillor with the portfolio of adult social services and the administrator of York & District Deaf Society wish to issue a denial, Grandma B will happily publish it here.

Dear Mr Daniel,

Further to my e mails of the 3rd of November 2011 to Mr Robert Hofschroer, Councillor Horton and Councillor Simpson-Laing informing them that the OPG investigation was closed and asking them not to harass Mrs Hofschroer and her carer Peter with any more e mails, I have received no response.

I consider this is a breach of duty by both Councillors.  I also consider that having had the opportunity to respond to the following questions:

  1. On what evidential basis have you have made the allegations of abuse, crime and neglect against Peter Hofschroer?
  2. On what evidential basis do you allege that Peter Hofschroer is preventing contact with between yourself and your mother Mrs Barbara Hofschroer?
  3. Why have you not telephoned, spoken to, or visited Mrs Hofschroer since the death of her husband Paul in January 2009?
  4. Why, having had a key cut to Mrs Hofscroer’s house when you entered it on the 22nd of February 2010 and therefore having obtained access, did you feel the need to then change the locks, thus denying Mrs Hofschroer  access to her home?
  5. Why did you not send Mrs Hofschroer a key to her home in response to her solicitor’s request for one?
  6. What is the nature of the relationship between yourself and Mr Mark Bednarski.  How long have you known him, in what capacity and what contact do you now maintain with him?
  7. What is the nature of the relationship between yourself and Councillor Horton.  How long have you known him, in what capacity and what contact do you now maintain with him?
  8. What is the nature of the relationship between yourself and Councillor Simpson-Laing.  How long have you known her, in what capacity and what contact do you now maintain with her?
  9. What is the nature of the relationship between yourself and Ms Cath Murray.  How long have you known her, in what capacity and what contact do you now maintain with her?
  10. What is the nature of the relationship between yourself and Inspector Moreton.  How long have you known him, in what capacity and what contact do you now maintain with him?
  11. What is the nature of the relationship between yourself and Detective Inspector Ellis.  How long have you known him, in what capacity and what contact do you now maintain with him?
  12. Will you and your associates now agree to cease making any more allegations of abuse, neglect and crime against Peter Hofschroer?

Robert Hofschröer’s silence is confirmation that the allegations he made against Peter Hofschroer are in fact unsupported by any evidence and he is unable to support the allegations he made, which are in fact false.

I would be grateful if you would refer to this in your report.
