Cllr Tracey Simpson-Laing is facing allegations of abuse and harassment of an 82 year-old invalid

Tracey Simpson-Laing is a ward councillor for Acomb in York, where Grandma B lived until she was unlawfully evicted by Dear Tracey’s friends and her associates in crime.

One would have thought that having the portfolio of Health, Housing & Adult Social Services, Dear Tracey might have done her job and stepped in to stop this abuse.

On the contrary, she has played a major role in the abuse of Grandma B and has committed a series of criminal offences against a vulnerable person and her carer.

Obviously, being an active, habitual criminal, and a granny-abusing pervert, her party colleagues think highly of her, so much so that she was recently made Deputy Leader of the Labour Group in York.

Does that not sum up how the corrupt council running the Rotten Borough of York works and what the Brave New Labour Party is all about?

Grandma B’s carer first approached his local councillors for help in December 2008, when it became clear there was something very untoward going on in York Social Services. Later events, such as the Battle of Rosedale Avenue with Kung Fu Bednarski made it clear there was something very foul going on here.

The two ward councillors, the other one is David Horton JP, did act to see to it that Grandma B’s complaints were acted on, but it was very clear they were doing so reluctantly.

Months later, when Grandma B exercised her right to free speech and handed out a leaflet complaining about how the City of York Council (CYC) was treating her, Dear Tracey and Dear David, who is now Lord Mayor of York, set the police on her to try to intimidate her. That is a criminal offence of harassment.

When Grandma B refused to be cowed by police officers in stab-vests, officers of North Yorkshire Police (NYP) under the command of ex-Inspector Colin Moreton, a friend of the two ward councillors and as such obviously an active, habitual criminal, then started a campaign of harassment by coming round her house at night and disturbing the peace to intimidate a little, old lady on a wheelchair.

When Grandma B went away for Christmas 2009, police criminals acting under the orders of the corrupt ex-Inspector Moreton established she was not at home, then stood by while her older son and her grandson forced entry to her house, changed the locks and unlawfully evicted her. The police reports mention how they watched the perpetrators steal Grandma B’s property. Obviously, being officers of the NYP, they did not uphold the law and arrest these criminals.

One would have thought the unlawful eviction of a disabled great-grandmother would have caused her ward councillors concern and that they would have acted to deal with such horrendous abuse. However, we are dealing with the sort of corrupt councillor that runs the Rotten Borough of York.

This is what Dear Tracey and the Lord Mayor to-be did, or rather didn’t do.

First, they denied that being unlawfully evicted by a friend of theirs whose intention was to fraudulently sell her house had made her homeless. Dear Tracey, who, let us not forget, has the portfolio of Health, Housing & Adult Social Services, stated,

“The scenario stated is the law of the land and is the same for people of all ages, including those with young children who often turn up to Councils across the country presenting themselves as homeless.”

Grandma B is a veteran of the Second World War and worked in a factory in London making parts for warplanes, where she endured the Blitz. She joined the Labour Party aged 14 and remained a member until she felt she could no longer belong to a party that has such a blatant contempt for the law and democracy as the Brave New Labour Party now has.

Comparing Grandma B, a victim of horrific abuse, to a scrounger trying to take advantage of the welfare state is a clear indication of how Dear Tracey’s twisted mind works. Most people would describe her as “sick”. York Labour Party promoted her to deputy leader.

Dear Tracey’s remarks were is calculated to be offensive and hurtful to Grandma B, and to cause her distress. This is a criminal offence of harassment.

Shortly after making these remarks, CYC expressed its approval by giving Dear Tracey the portfolio of Health, Housing & Adult Social Services. Who else could possibly be suitable for the job other than a granny-abusing pervert?

Bolstered by the support given by her accomplices in crime, on 7 December 2010, Dear Tracey wrote to the fraud investigator accumulating evidence on her criminal activities, stating,

“I feel that with the continued nuisance and malicious telephone calls, added to the personal attacks which have been sent to me in emails over the last 2 years, by Mr Hofschroer, that I can no longer be involved in communications with yourself.

“I must inform you that I have already had the police involved in this and I have, after receiving another call, asked the police to investigate the calls I have been receiving from someone connected to this case . I am doing so as I have a young child in my house and I do not want them to answer such a telephone call.”

Since then, the fraud investigator has been trying to get the crime no. and details of the police investigation. More of this later.

A couple of days after that, Grandma B’s solicitor then wrote to Dear Tracey instructing her to cease and desist,

“We consider that Councillor Simpson-Laing’s comments are offensive and inappropriate and ask that she stops making them. Should this offensive correspondence continue, both of my clients reserve the right to commence civil and criminal proceedings against her.”

That is right. The Deputy Leader of York Labour Party and CYC councillor with the portfolio of Health, Housing & Adult Social Services has been sent a solicitor’s letter threatening her with criminal proceedings for abusing a little, old lady on a wheelchair.

Obviously, none of her party colleagues or fellow councillors find anything wrong with her behaviour.

At the same time, Grandma B’s solicitor wrote to Dear Tracey’s partner in crime, a certain David Horton JP, Lord Mayor to-be, as follows,

“I note that you acknowledge that you have a duty to Mrs Hofschröer as your constituent but you will nevertheless ignore this and not get involved. As you are aware, Mr Hicks received a similar e-mail from Councillor Simpson-Laing three hours before yours, also refusing to get involved in the case and it seems clear that both of your e-mails have been coordinated and you are acting in common purpose. I submit that every resident of Acomb is entitled to raise an issue with a local councillor and when you took office, you agreed to provide this service. You are consequently in fundamental breach of your duty as a Councillor by refusing to correspond with Mrs Hofschröer. We consider that your comments are defamatory, gratuitously offensive and inappropriate. We ask that you stop making them. Should this offensive correspondence continue, both of my clients reserve the right to commence civil and criminal proceedings against you.”

So the current Lord Mayor of York has been warned to stop committing criminal offences against an 82 year-old great-grandmother.

Anyway, we digress. In the following months, the fraud investigator contacted CYC and NYP on numerous occasions asking for the crime no. and sight of the evidence support Dear Tracey’s allegations.

Yes, you guessed, right of silence.

The correspondence with CYC ran through our old friend Andrew Docherty, the known, active, habitual criminal who tried to bully Grandma B into silence before deciding to exercise his right to not so golden silence.

On 2 June 2011, the fraud investigator wrote to Dear Andy as follows;

“Further to your e-mail below, Deputy Chief Constable Sue Cross of North Yorkshire Police has now confirmed that the Police have not in fact received a complaint form Councillor Simpson-Laing.  I suspected this was the case when she failed to provide the crime number or the name of the investigating officer.

“I consider that making false allegations of criminal offences is unacceptable behaviour by Councillor Simpson-Laing and also by yourself. Please can you confirm what is your explanation for this. I wish to include this information in the Ombudsman’s report, so please can I have a response within the next seven days.”

Yes, you guessed. Dear Andy did not reply, so on 27 October 2011, the fraud investigator wrote to remind him,

“Further to my e-mail of the 2nd of June 2011 below, Deputy Chief Constable Sue Cross of North Yorkshire Police has now confirmed that the Police have not in fact received a complaint form Councillor Simpson-Laing.  I suspected this was the case when she failed to provide the crime number or the name of the investigating officer.

“I consider that making false allegations of criminal offences is unacceptable behaviour by Councillor Simpson-Laing and also by yourself, which has caused distress to Mrs Hofschroer and her carer Peter.  Please can you confirm what is your explanation for this.

“I will assume you have no explanation if I do not hear from you by return.”

Nope, nothing came by return.

Of course, Dear Tracey is not facing censure or having to undergo any form of disciplinary procedures, let alone a criminal investigation for her activities.

So let us sum up the situation:

• York Labour Party does not have a problem with its deputy leader committing serious criminal offences against an 82 year-old invalid and her carer.
• York’s councillors do not have a problem with an adult abuser having the portfolio of adult social services.
• York police do not have a problem with crime being committed against little, old ladies on wheelchairs.

Does that not sum up how corrupt the Rotten Borough of York is?

UPDATE

Cllr David Horton JP is actively involved in the abuse of Grandma B and has committed a number of criminal offences against her. He is facing arrest. York Labour Party and his fellow councillors regard this pervert so highly, they have made him Lord Mayor of the Rotten Borough of York. Is any further comment necessary?.

The fraud investigator has just told Grandma B that,

I have enough to arrest them both I think.

“Them both” being the perverts Tracey Simpson-Laing and David Horton JP, the Lord Mayor of York. At least Dear David will be able to put on his CV he was the first Lord Mayor in British history to be arrested for abusing a little, old lady on a wheel-chair. I bet he is proud of that, eh? And presumably York Labour Party will be trying to have him made candidate for the next prime minister….
